Nośność graniczna ścianki równomiernie ściskanej skrzynkowego podzespołu cienkościennego

The problem considered is similar to that which occurs during uniform compression of thin plate element of the column. Such an element is situated between two significantly flexurally stiffer walls of the column and on two other sides is connected to slender diaphragm. Results are given in the form of expressions and tables. An examplary illustration of their practical application is also presented. It has been proved that the length of the compressed column have an effect on the critical loading as well as on the load carrying capacity of the structure considered.
