Obciążenia krytyczne płyt prostokątnych w obszarze niesprężystym

In the paper the critical stress values for rectangular plates uniaxially compressed are determined in the inelastic range. The plates are subject to different boundary conditions. The problem is solved by means of variational method by means of the deformation theory of plasticity and the incremental theory. The numerical calculations are carried out for mild steel and duraluminium. The results obtained on the basis of experimental stress-strain curve are compared with those given by different types of uniaxial stress-strain relationships.
