Przyczynek do mechanizmu zniszczenia zmęczenioweco żyłek poliamidowych

The paper presents some observations concerning the fatigue fracture of the Polyamide 6 fibres. The process of initiation and development of fracture were investigated by means of the optical and electron microscopy. Various reasons for the fatigue fracture are considered and the role of dislocations and deffects of crystal lattices is discussed at the first plane. On the basis of the obtained results a probable mechanism responsible for the observed fatigue fracture of the Polyamide 6 fibres is proposed.
