Naprężenie zwilżające działające na pęcherzyk parowy w czasie wrzenia

Bogumił Bieniasz
A liquid surface used as heating surface for the stationary, saturated, bubble type boiling under barometric pressure leads to the conclusion that the previous model of forces acting on a bubble (without molecular forces of adhesion) is inadequate for further investigations. For the first time the so-called ''wetting tensions'', recently introduced to the theory of boiling [3], are determined experimentally. The dependence of wetting tension on the virial coefficient in the Van der Waals equation is established and aproximately calculated.
