Teoria nieliniowej lepkosprężystości i jej zastosowania

Zbigniew Bychawski
In the paper are critically reviewed certain trends of development of the theory of viscoelasticity; on this background author's results are presented, in the field of both the theory and its practical applications. Discussed are certain selected problems of the theory being the subject of author's current interest. In particular, the forms of constitutive equations are examined governing the behaviour of non-linear elastic bodies; they follow from the generalized theorem of superposition. The functional interpretation of that equation is given, as also its functional generalization from the point of view of its applications to boundary value problems.
