Inżynierskie metody analizy konstrukcji sprężysto-plastycznych
The theory of plastic structures is discussed from the viewpoint of applications in structural design. Limit analysis, shakedown and large deformation theory are considered. Approximate methods (yield-line theory of plates, kinematical methods in shell analysis and in dynamics of plates) are commented upon, their engineering motivation being emphasized. Stability of yield point loads (''geometrical hardening'' and snap-through) and shakedown to cyclic loading are considered.
