Zginanie płyty kwadratowej z centrycznie położonym otworem kwadratowym

The paper presents a formally accurate solution of the problem of bending of an elastic square plate with a central square hole. The solution makes it possible to account for arbitrary continuous boundary conditions along the edge of the hole under the assumption that the outer edge of the plate is simply supported. Due to the symmetry of the problem, the problem of determination of the deflections of a plate with a hole is reduced to the problem of bending of a rectangular plate under discontinuous boundary conditions. Using simple Fourier series, the problem is reduced to the solution of a system of two infinite sets of equations.
