Ocena przydatności żywicy epoksydowej ,,Epidian 5'' do modelowania konstrukcji

Influence of amount of mineral filler (portland cement 350), hardener (,,TECZA'') and plasticizer (dibutyl phthalate) added to epoxy resin ,,Epidian 5'' on homogeneity, bending strength, modulus of elastiticy, Poisson modulus, stress-strain relation, coefficient of dissipation of potential energy of elastic deformation (for statical histeresis loop) of tested material is analysed. Ingredients of material are as follows (for 100 parts of ,,Epidian 5'' epoxy resin) filler: 0, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 ns; plasticizer: 0, 1, 15, 24 ns; hardener: 7, 8, 9, 10, 12.5, 15, 20 ns. Tests were carried out using samples subjected to bending. Every sample was subjected to two loading-unloading cycles in range of one-third of ultimate stress. Strains and deflections were measured with tensometer gauges and dial indicators respectively. Tested material has various physical and mechanical properties. These properties are similar to linearly-elastic and (mainly) to elasto-plastic materials, or even to plastic ones. Tests have proved complete usefulness of this material for making models of industrial objects, especially for shell structures, providing following amounts of ingredients: ,,TECZA'' hardenergreater than 10 ns, dibutyl phthalate plasticizer-less than 15 ns.
