Izotropia jako przypadek graniczny wieloskładnikowego ośrodka ortotropowego
Multiphase media, such as real crystals or reinforced plastics consist, in general, of orthotropic components. In the case of their unidirectional arrangement some of the reinforcement theories describe mechanical properties of such a composite with sufficient accuracy. The paper deals with a case of homogeneous random distribution of directional elements in a composite. It is shown that the law of mixtures leads to a simple finite algebraic relation describing the mechanical properties of such media.
