O sformułowaniu i poprawności pewnej klasy zadań z nieliniowej dynamiki lin rozciągliwych

Nonlinear dynamic problem of a string with variable mass is considered. The derivation of the differential gquations of string dynamics is given, and also the type and the characteristics of the system are determined. The physical meaning of the characteristics is pointed out. On the basis of the general theory of hyperbolic systems, the correctness of the boundary value problem with the variable boundary is discussed.
