O zagadnieniu odwrotnym dla równania falowego

The one-dimensional problem of a boundary condition identification for a finite cord is considered. Solution of an initial-boundary value problem of ths wave propagation is exploited to obtain transformed form of a formal solution of the problem. The conditions imposed on the admissible functions describing so-called internal responses are settled and then the exact solution of the problem is found and discussed.
