O błędzie rozwiązań przybliżonych w mechanice

Mathematical structures applied in solutions of mechanical boundary value problems are considered. A notion of an approximate solution has been formulated as well as a method of estimation of error with respect to unknown exact solution. As an example the linear theory of elasticity has been analized.
