The new method of speckle photography is presented. The white speckle patterns are created by ground glass and projected onto the surface of the tested object. Displacement of the surface can be measured by recording a double – exposure photography of the object iluminated by speckle – projector, followed by optical processing of the recorded speckle pattern image. The analysis can be performed either point – by – point technique, or by spatial filtering technique which resolves the motion in direction perpendicularly to object surface. Noncoherent optical processors are used to analyse speckle pattern image.
