Jednomodalna i dwumodalna optymalizacja ściskanych prętów drgających

The paper is concerned with a detailed solution of the shape optimization problem of the elastically clamped-clamped compressed bar with respect to the fundamental frequency of its transverse vibration. The asymmetry of system exerted by different values of the clamping elasticity parameters on each bar end is admissible. Necessity of using bimodal optimization for certain cases of bar ends clamping as well as for certain values of axial force has been pointed out. The case of rigidly clamped-clamped bar has been investigated in details.
