Wykorzystanie zjawiska elasto-akustycznego do pomiaru naprężeń

The influence of stress on ultrasonic velocity in steel is investigated and the methods based on this effect are used for residual stress measurements in steel mill products, machine parts, and construction members. We present the detailed description of ultrasonic measurements of residual stress in railway rails, the measuring equipment and comparison of the destructive test results with ultrasonic data.
