Dwuwymiarowy model oddziaływania obracającego się cylindra z warstwą cieczy newtonowskiej
Two dimensional model describing mutual interaction between partly submerged, rotating cylinder and a layer of newtonian fluid occupying the bottom of an open tank is formulated. Basing on this model pressure distribution the lift force and torque acting on cylinder are obtained. Pressure distribution and outlet position, calculated theoretically, have been verified experimentally. A good agreement between the theory and experiment has been obtained.
