Drgania belki na inercyjnym podłożu sprężystym

This paper deals with an analysis of free and forced transverse vibrations of the beam lying on the inertial elastic layer. The elastic layer is represented by a system of independent bars. The beam is subjected to an arbitrarily distributed continuous load. The motion of the system is described by two partial differential equations. The solutions are obtained with the aid of both the Bernoulli-Fourier method and the method of expansion of the normal modes of vibration in a series.

As a numerical example the vibrations of simply supported beam subjected to one concentrated harmonic force are treated.
