On the micro-dynamics of composite materials
In order to investigate the microstructure lenght-scale effect on a dynamic response of a composite body, a new general modelling approach to periodic material structures is proposed. Applications of the resulting equations to the micro-vibration analysis are illustrated by numerical examples. Considerations are restricted to the linear elastic composites with a perfect bonding between constituents.
