Practical aspects of identification of the aerodynamic characteristics

The problem of identification of aircraft aerodynamic characteristics performed by means of recording current flight parameters is presented in the paper. Basic concepts of fast identification algorithms; e.g. Non-Linear Filtering (NF) (based on the Lipcer and Sziriajev theory) and Estimation Before Modelling (EBM) are presented as well. Tips on how to implement the EBM and NF methods in practice are shown. Presented numerical results seem to be very interesting.
