Swobodne drgania poprzeczne układu dwóch belek połączonych inercyjnym elementem sprężystym

This paper deals with an analysis of free transverse vibrations of two parallel prismatic beams which are coupled by means of an inertial elastic element. The elastic element is represented by a system of independent bars. Application of such a model makes it possible to take into consideration the effect of the mass of the element on the vibration of beams. In this report differential equations of motion of the system are derived and the solution of free vibrations is given.
