Optymalne kształtowanie belki na podłożu sprężystym z uwzględnieniem ograniczeń naprężeń normalnych

In the paper the problem of shape optimization of a beam resting on elastic foundation is formulated. The problem of minimum weight is considered, under the condition of limited normal stresses. The solution is obtained by means of dynamic programming. The problem of a beam resting on a Winkler-type elastic foundation of uniform strength is considered in detail.
