Stateczność drgań parametrycznych wału napędzającego mechanizmy rozmieszczone rzędowo
A problem of stability of parametric vibrations of a shaft driving the mechanisms spaced in a row is considered. Investigation is limited to the case of four identical mechanisms exhibiting continuous motion with the period equal to that of the shaft. Spacing of the mechanisms is assumed to be the same as in a I.C. fourstroke engine with a flat crankshaft. The vibrations are being forced parametrically by the torques induced by the inertial forces of the driven mechanisms. Two main regions of instability of the vibrations are determined. The danger resulting from the even harmonics of the parametric forcing has been indicated.
