Rozwój i deformacja warstwy wirowej indukowanej za profilem aerodynamicznym przez przepływającą strukturę wirową
The are given results of the study of development and deformation of the unsteady vortex layer formed behind a trailing edge of the symmetric airfoil in a plane parallel flow. The changing intensity of the layer is induced by a single concentrated vortex passing by the airfoil. The theoretical calculations performed on the basis of the construction of the Kirchhoff-Routh function indicate that the generated layer forms in a short period of time a new concentrated vortex of comparable intensity but of rotation opposite to that represented by the primary vortex. The experimental investigations, conducted in a flow of the velocity U=2.1 m/s and Reynolds number based on the airfoil chord length Re=4x$10^3$, agree with the theoretical results in some cases of the vortex-airfoil configuration.
