The research contains theoretical basis and an example of the application of optimal forming the load-carrying structures method with the side-condition of local rigidity. The optimalization task may be formulated as that of the minimalization of the mass of the structure for the conservation of constant elastic strain energy or as minimalization of elastic strain energy for the conservation of constant mass. The side-condition is limiting absolute values or relative shifts of chosen points of the structure at elastic strain conditions.
