Critical point of the elastoplastic transition in terms of thermomechanical coupling

A review and justification of chosen papers related to the determination of the begining of plastic deformation has been presented. A particular attention was paid to the criteria based on the temperature measurement. It was found, that the beginning of plastic deformation in metal subjected to elongation occurs when the dependence of temperature vs stress ceases to be the straight line. Finally, the results of initial own investigations were presented.
